Dunder Casino privacy policy: what information we handle and the rights you have over it

This page explains what personal information arises when you visit the official Dunder Casino website, what we use it for, how long it is kept and what rights you have under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Who and what this policy covers

This policy applies to the information pages of Dunder Casino at dunder-online.com. We handle only the data needed to run the pages, keep them secure and reply to your messages. In the player area, where you hold an account and make payments, the privacy notices published there apply as well.

Dunder Casino is responsible for this website at the address given in the contact section. How access to your account is protected is described on signing in to Dunder Casino; the checks that apply to payments are explained on payments at Dunder Casino.

Last updated: 12 October 2026. If our data handling or the law changes, we will update this policy to match.

Information created when you visit

When a page is opened, the server records a few technical details so the content arrives correctly and misuse can be spotted. On top of that comes anything you send us yourself, such as an email. The table gives an overview.

We keep this information only for as long as the purpose in the table requires. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you, and we do not combine it with information from other sources to build a personal profile. If we ever add a new tool to these pages that handles personal information, we will describe it here before it goes live.

Use of cookies

These pages use only technically necessary storage where it is needed to display them. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies here. If you move on to the player area, that area may use cookies of its own and tells you about them itself. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time, although some features may then be limited. On a shared device it is a good idea to have cookies removed automatically when you close the browser.

The redirect to the player area

Buttons such as "Join now" send you through an internal redirect address to the player area. A note that you arrived from this website can be passed along so your registration is linked to the right campaign. That note carries nothing about you personally; your IP address and browser details reach the player area only when it loads. If you would rather not use the redirect, you can type the player area address into your browser yourself.

Recipients and overseas transfers

We do not sell personal information. It is shared only with service providers, such as the web host, and only as far as necessary, or where the law requires it. When your browser loads Google Fonts, the provider receives your IP address for technical reasons. Information may be handled by providers outside New Zealand only where reasonable safeguards are in place. Providers working for us are bound by contract to protect the data.

What you can ask of us

You can use any of the rights below by simply contacting us; no special form is needed. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

  • Access and correction: You can ask what information we hold about you and request a correction if something is wrong.
  • Deletion and restriction: You can ask us to delete information or limit how we use it, unless a legal duty to keep it applies.
  • Objection: Where we rely on a legitimate interest, you can tell us why a particular use should stop in your situation.
  • A copy of your data: Information you gave us can be provided on request in a common, machine-readable format.

Contact for privacy questions

Please send questions, access requests and applications to the contact details below. Say briefly what your request is about so that we can deal with it quickly. If you are not happy with our answer, you are welcome to raise it with us again before going to the Privacy Commissioner, and we will look at it afresh.

We aim to reply within the time the law allows, which is usually twenty working days. For your protection, we may ask you to prove your identity before we release or delete any information.
